These are a great value speaker. They sound very nice to my ear, are built really well and with quality (real rosewood veneer). They are beautiful to look at too. Highly recommend. I've bought two pairs!
I'm really enjoying this dual sub set-up. Using these in a two channel stereo system, replacing a single 12" sub (which was stashed in the corner). My mains are the KEF LS50 meta's, and they work well with the Caldera 10's. Still fine tuning the crossover freq & volume balance, but I'm prone to tweaking things just for the fun of it.
The Caldera 10's arrived in fine fashion, and were easy to set up. They look great and sound even better.
A solid little sub for the price. Its compact size makes it easy to place multiples in a room to help manage standing waves. The "auto-on" feature is practically useless—at low listening levels the sub won’t engage, and when you raise the volume it starts switching on and off in time with the music until it’s loud enough. I just leave it on all the time, which isn’t a big deal since the small amp only draws about 3 watts at idle. The inclusion of high-level inputs is a nice bonus at this price point, and the crossover slope is steep enough to blend seamlessly.
Using these on Marantz model 30. The VBH provides complete, across the spectrum draining of vibration noise, leaving clear, tonally right sound across the entire sound spectrum. Unlike others that I've tried, VBH works across the high, mid and lows evenly.
Tried some other products like Herbies, IsoAcoustics, Maple Shade, all of those helped but to me, they all sounded a bit uneven, working better on some areas of the sound than others. The VBH is just smooth and sounds tonally right across the whole sound spectrum to me. (Do remove your old feet and use directly on the amp bottom, don't put them under the cheap plastic stock feet.)
Natural, tight sound. High end is clear without being overpowering. Not at all fatiguing. Good to listed to for extended periods.
Great system -- purchased 5 scouts (one for center channel) and 12" sub. Scouts sound is clear and natural. Scouts and sub blend wonderfully. For music, the sub reproduces musical notes, not simply some deep thump other subs might offer. Work fine for home theater as well. Tight, concise sound,
I recently integrated the SSZ into my system, alongside the LNBH, and the two proved to be highly complementary. While the LNBH focuses on cleaning high-frequency EMI/RFI noise and lowering the noise floor at the source, the SSZ stabilizes the foundation by blocking DC offset, filtering mid/low-frequency interference, and adding a soft-start function. Together, they form a balanced approach to power conditioning, one addressing refinement at the top, the other ensuring solidity and control at the base.
With the SSZ in place, the presentation gained a calmer, more grounded character. The soundstage opened with greater depth and spatial definition, and instruments locked into position with more natural spacing. Bass and mid-bass became richer in texture yet remained controlled, while vocals and strings carried more body and emotional weight. High frequencies smoothed out without losing detail, giving the music a more relaxed and effortless quality.
Dynamics also benefited. Quiet passages now emerge from a darker, quieter floor, while peaks and transients are released with greater ease and natural flow. The LNBH enhances openness and fine detail, while the SSZ reinforces stability, coherence, and weight. Used together, they help the system breathe more freely, making listening both technically refined and musically involving.
The SSZ is far more than a protection device, it is a meaningful sonic upgrade, especially when paired with the LNBH. This combination lowers noise across the spectrum, stabilizes dynamics, and enhances musicality in a way that feels both natural and convincing. For me, they turned listening into a more effortless and emotionally engaging experience.
Awesome little device. Lowest noise floor I’ve heard in my system and without the expense of dynamics. Like my old Running Springs power conditioner it expands dynamics instead of suppressing them but the backgrounds are even blacker and at less than a tenth of the price. Well done
Caldera 10 Duo paired with Magnat monitor supreme. They blend well, have great audio quality, nice looking & hefty build. My system sounds beautiful. I have the calderas set just over 1/4 volume and the bass is vibrating the gutters on my house.
I guess I happened to order as everyone else realized the bang for your buck deal Vera-fi is offering here. I had to try and be patient and wait for the backorder to be fulfilled. As I waited I recieved excellent communication from Mark and his crew.
I wouldnt hesitate to refer a friend.
Im super happy 🤘😁🤘
Thanks Vera-fi !!!
The LNBH attached to my streamer made things quieter. I suppose reduced noise I didn’t know was there.
Placing the SnubWay into my high end system reduce the background noise .It has made things a lot darker ,everything is quite and it make the music much more enjoyable. I have had a few of my audiophile friends over and we listen to my system with it in and out. Everyone of them left my house in disbelief that it made that much of a difference in. Now they are all thanking me and purchase the SnubWay for there own systems. I highly recommend trying the SnubWay. Happy listening 🎶.
Out of the box they sounded excellent. Given a weeks playing of about 80 hours play at a moderate volume when I wasn’t listening in the room they came alive! They are excellent room filling, non exaggerating or exhausting, I’ve paired them with the Caldera Sub. Magical, musical, as well as detail revealing.
I replaced my Wharfdale Aura 2 with these and what a pleasant upgrade with a small price tag. The Aura 2 are a three way design and played very well in the living room but these mighty gems surpassed them in so many ways.
Spend thousand of dollars if you must or spend them elsewhere in your system. I have a pair of Audioquest William Tell Zero , a Wiim Ultra Streamer and two Fosi Mono 300 watt amps and play my collection of high resolution music through Roon. Interconnects are all Audioquest Black Beauty. Wow! So few dollars so much SOUND!
Absolutely mind blowing bass! The timing and accuracy of this sub can be compared to REL Very musical but also packs a punch in a surround set up.
I use my desktop to watch movies and listen to music (amazon music). The DAC/preamp made a huge improvement to the sound; more open, more detail, good bass and treble. It is connected to an old Adcom GFA 535II power amp (60 WPC into 8 ohms) via Zu audio mission RCA cables driving Yamaha NS777 6 ohm towers.
These speakers are as good as it gets for using them as desk speakers for a PC. Great sounding speakers for their size. They punch way above their price.
I suppose I’m in the minority because I really prefer physical media. 90% of my listening is vinyl and 10% CD. I wanted the ability to stream without the high investment and frankly I didn’t want to do all the research required to make an expensive front end streaming solution. I have several Verify Audio products and they all work quite well in my system. So. So when Vera-Link was offered. I gave it a try.
Long story short, I was not expecting what I heard. That little 50 watt class D amp took hold of my 97db efficient horn speakers and through an amazing soundstage, complete with absolute “black” background, stunning resolution and “in the room” realism. Who knew!
