I use these on my TVs. They are 2 8ks and a high-end oled. Two of the TVs very favorably responded with improved image quality. Dark areas have less noise and colors pop more dramatically when called for.
Don’t use one of these on a socket parallel to a Samsung QN990F 8K set. That TV uses a send box where all inputs connect, that wirelessly connects with a power supply and receiver box physically connected to the TV. I used the Snubway on the 2nd outlet parallel to the receiver box. The TV would not cleanly hold a connection to the TV with that setup. It interferes with the WiFi 7 connection between the two boxes.
My audio is already well conditioned with Adept Response conditioners and a Silver Circle amp
SDFB with Sluggo’s transformed my system over the standard fuse and all boutique fuses as well
Great product. Dramatic improvement in the sound of my amplifier. Like a new amplifier.
I am still waiting to receive my AC Tuning X. Looking forward to Reviewing them and resubmitting a Review.
This is a joint review of the Mainstream and Snubway, purchased together. The units are substantial and very well constructed. Experimented with different placements, before settling with the Main Stream in first receptacle of my PDU for the sensitive analog units. The Snubway is plugged into the first receptacle of the PDU for the Home Theatre noisy electronics. Both are doing an excellent job in limiting noise from smearing sound and vision.
Honestly, I was just curious and the combo of MainStream and Snubway was too tempting to pass up. I fully expected to return them after auditioning during the return period.
I have tried several positions and settled on putting the MainStream in the wall socket, running a surge protection powerstrip from the other wall socket and placing the Snubway in the lead socket in the powerstrip. I was pretty sure at this point that I was indeed hearing the talked about benefits of power conditioning/filtering. I left it there for a couple weeks and then removed both and critically listened to my Qobuz Reference Playlist. Without a doubt there was a degraded presentation. I put them back in and said to myself these are cheap and necessary components. Best bang for the buck investment in a couple years. Highly recommended if your system is currently satisfying and resolving. Try my method and you will notice the improvement most when they are taken out of your set up. Highly recommended. FYI fully treated dedicated listening room, NOS tube amplifier, preamp and DAC, Spatial Audio M3 open baffle speakers and dual subs. Resolving system? Have YOU heard a flake of rosin from a bowed cello settle onto a Persian rug? Well,me either but now I'm closer to being able.
I already use several of the Mainstream devices to great effect. I bough 1 SnubWay at the advice of an audiophile colleague of mine. I placed it in the mains outlet under the AC connection to my Puritain 156 power and grounding device. I was shocked by the improvement in nuanced detail and a blacker noise floor. Just for fun I plugged 1 into my TV outlet, and wow. Now I have no choice but to buy another one. Oh well.
Excellent products that have improved the sound of my system. Not a subtle improvement, very noticeable and brings greater enjoyment to my listening sessions. Highly recommended.
Another outstanding value. Well made, well balanced cables. Everybody can have nice high end cables even those on a tight budget. Well done!
Thank you.
Noticeable improvement in sound quality - highly recommended
Superb product. Increase in transparency.

I bought these speakers for a nice garage system but during the break in period they displaced some speakers that were in the house system. If verify developed a slightly larger bookshelf it would be ideal!
As with all of the Veri-Fi products, in my opinion, exceptional value. Good balance and very musical meaning all of the music comes through in a full engaging experience. Well done !
Despite the very long wait time to receive it (~2 months), it is just as described, seems quite well-built, and sounds quite good.
So good I am going to order a couple more. I heard a difference when I let the current flow.
Received 2 SWDFs about 5 weeks ago with the graphene sluggos.
Things were sounding good before I introduced them to the system but there was a definite improvement in resolution and detail after I did - especially after several weeks of burn in time.
I purchased these speakers direct from Vera-Fi and I do agree with the great reviews out there. I have demo'd or owned many bookshelf speakers over the years so I do have some experience here.
The slightly boosted midrange makes these sound bigger than they are and that also makes them quite pleasing because the dialog from movies or tv are projected very clearly. The bass is also very good for their size.
Furthermore, I am also quite impressed with the veneer and fit-n-finish of the speakers for the price. I very much recommend them to anyone looking for bookshelves under the $4-500 range.
The Graphene is a worthwhile upgrade from the copper or brass SLUGGOs. I've got 3 and will order 2 more. Highly recommended!
This ac line conditioner has made a significant improvements on my already sonically upgraded cables and ac filtering on my two hi fi systems. Try it you’ve nothing to lose. Hear what you’ve been missing.
YouTube reviewers love the Vanguard Scouts. They do not necessarily see them as giant killers, being cautious to add “for the price” somewhere in their reviews. I do not exercise such caution because I evaluate speakers, not against each other, but where they fall in a high-fidelity scale.
I’ve had many speakers over 45 years, mostly planars and electrostatics, some quite expensive. Against a realistic reproduction standard, the Vanguard Scouts match speakers in my past in sonic performance, and easily rate a 8.5 out of 10. In retirement and at this stage of my audiophile journey, the Scouts are the right fit for my downsized listening space.
No speaker is perfect. The Scouts require transparent electronics, a fast, musical subwoofer, sufficient power to overcome their 84.5db sensitivity, and a small to medium size room where they can strut their stuff. Give them that and they will reward you with a presentation possessing all the traits which have been so well described by YouTube reviewers. I could not even detect any ferrous materials in the speaker binding posts, something Danny Richie says is quite common and can impact sound negatively.
To sum it up, the Vanguard Scouts are quite beautiful and well-built. Fed by transparent electronics in an acoustically balanced room, with listeners whose hearing is good enough to appreciate exceptional sound quality, the Scouts are well worth considering. Provided, of course, that you have the patience to wait weeks for delivery.
These Piggy Tails are Excellent. You might think adding them to your favorite Power Cords (I use Rick Schultz Emersion), will be a little of a downgrade but, you will be gaining a HUGE BOOST in performance because of the Sluggos passing on that Sweet Power to your Electronics.
A Win Win all the way.
The SDFB Really adds that extra layer of Life to my System. There is Excitement when every I listen.
